I was a consistent diamond 5-4 tank for a while through my win/loss adjustments and was always in diamond 5-3 matches. I got a bad run with people leaving games and others intentionally throwing. I de-ranked and dropped down to plat 3 and now every game I have a really bad teammate (sometimes several) who cost the game and every other game someone leaves mid march or early on. I’m always stuck with terrible teammates, and I can’t hard carry every game just because I was previously at a higher rank. I just finished a match with a bastion who had 2.7k damage and he rage quitted mid match. Players like that contribute nothing but ult charge for the enemy team and make it harder to win. And I can’t forget the Genji’s in half of my matches who only get 1k dmg a round. Almost every game I have great stats and outplay the enemy tank, but I still can’t rank up because I’m losing and getting rolled so many times due to bad teammates.
