Currently the initial release of Genji’s alternate fire is lower than the crosshair is showing. When you fire a projectile from someone like mei, hanzo, or torbjorn while your crosshair is just above an object such as a ledge of a wall it will travel over it. When you do that with Genji’s Alternate Fire (emphasizing it is not the main fire) it does not do so. This ruins Genji’s core gameplay as he has to be accurate to execute all of his Combo attacks. The alternate fire at a close range will always be more viable as it is faster damage output.
Currently attacking someone and aiming for critical hits at a point blank range requires you to actually aim almost a head higher than you should have to, which makes no sense since he has a zero drop off ability but yet within a 2m range he has to compensate for that.
Then when you get into hard counters such as Mcree who have a rather random 25hp more than your standard 200hp hero (which means 1 shuriken not landing a critical hit in a 1v1 scenario would equal a failed trade) who also has a shield break ability with infinite reload that does more damage than a hanzo storm arrow ability that actually has a cooldown, it begins to matter a lot.
Please fix this along-side the reduced delay between attacks, maybe that’s all he needs instead of this anyway.
