Find A Group feature not working?

I originally posted this under General forums, but it was never moved to the Bug Report forums. And I’m not even sure if this is something on my end or not since no one replied and I’m not seeing any similar threads around.

So since Sigma’s patch this week I haven’t been able to see any formed groups in the Find A Group feature. Normally (and prior to the Sigma patch) I would just click the Find A Group button and it would usually find at least a few rooms to join. And I could also of course create one myself without issues. However, to reiterate, since the patch this week nothing shows up.

Also, I cannot create a group (or a “room” I guess) either. If I try to create one, regardless of the game mode or the filters chosen when it comes to clicking the ‘Create’ button there’s a red line at the bottom of the screen that says: Role Filled.

I thought perhaps it was something server-side that might require a Hotfix that we wouldn’t have to download client-side. But nothing happened since the patch as a “fix” or even a temporary workaround. So I’m starting to think it might be something on my end but I wouldn’t know what it could be. And that’s because prior to the patch this week (as recently as Monday in fact) I could use the feature just fine and I had no issues.

Now I’m posting this here in the hopes to be enlightened about this issue. In case anyone knows what’s going on; please let me know if this is a known issue, thank you.

I am having this issue. I’m so bummed. I dropped 500 SR tonight and I just want to play in a game of not micless randoms. Usually I use the feature to get a decent quickplay group going. When I try to make a group is says that role is filled but no one is in it.

I’m having this issue as well, but I’ve seen people grouped up together in a couple matches. It all started August 13th when Sigma arrived.

UPDATE

Alright, found out a bit more thanks to someone helping in the in-game (white) general chat from the menu. It turns out that the Find A Group feature does work right now BUT it IS actually bugged to some degree nonetheless.

So here’s what to do, it’s pretty simple:

1) From the main menu, click on Find A Group.
2) Then click on Filter.
3) Then, at the bottom of the Filter window just click on Restore Defaults.
4) Then hit the Back button, and look at the list of games.

Games DO now appear… BUT…

5) They actually ALL appear as being ‘ANY’ game mode.

So there’s no way to find out if it’s for QP or another game mode UNLESS, of course, the game’s creator lets it know in the Title itself as a way to inform potential joiners; otherwise you would have to manually try to join every one that might fit your game conditions and ask the creator once you do join in.

So yeah, conclusion is you have to Reset the Filters, it does work… but it’s sort of bugged anyway and does need a fix.
