its really tough to say.

For every guy out there who’ll “give it to the girl” to be a Nice Guy™ so she’ll like him more, there’s a guy out there who’ll be increadibly toxic to women just for being women,

Then there’s people who dont care either way and people who dont endorse at all because they’ll forget or be too lazy.

Also, the only way anyone would know your gender is if you tell them or get on mic. A lot of people dont use mics.

All and all I’d be really fascinated for some female players to revisit this topic once it goes live.

I’m super fascinated by this too! I think that it’s incredibly interesting from a sociology standpoint. I want to fund studies, lol.

I grew up with only sisters and my dad was always working so I became more comfortable with women than I am with men.

Not from me, I don’t care who you are or what gender you are, you get into my game, just don’t troll and I will be fine even if we lost, I would just say “unlucky”, “welp, you win some you lose some” or “welp, apparently we need to try harder” etc, if you are a troll, you will be avoided and reported, same for toxic people.
Maybe some friendly chat at the start would earn you an endorsement regardless of the result but I don’t friend people or flirt just because they have a different body than mine.

I don’t see why, maybe a few will who try and ‘promote themselves’.

Personally… I will be endorsing those who know when to switch hero if they or the team appears to be getting countered. I will be endorsing those who show leadership. I will endorsing those who are team players. I will be endorsing teammates who are excellent at their role, more so thanking supports or tanks if they did a superb job.

I won’t be endorsing toxic players, one tricks who won’t switch even if they are getting countered, throwers, leavers, or such related players.

I think this is true for a lot of people. In general, people are more comfortable around strange women than they are around strange men.

I mean sometimes? One of my best Overwatch friends started as a guy that sent me a random friend request even though he wasn’t on mic and we didn’t talk. He went out and bought a mic, we started playing together and are now good friends.

Eh, I mean extra endorsements are always welcome for everyone. Though I guess this’ll just make up for when were harassed by people :woman_shrugging:
I know I’ll be giving out my endorsements as much as I can, I dont care to who as long as theyre not toxic <3
