[Feedback thread] Juno

They decided to employ someone who spoke in anime shows, and it does not work. Overwatch is not that place. Xanthe Huỳnh (the voice actor) is too high pitched, and that’s something female anime voice actresses do. They do not sound natural. Juno’s voice is exaggerated. Why not use your own voice without changing it to something that… just sounds wrong? And most importantly, if Juno’s real name is Tèo Minh, why is she not speaking Vietnamese, or not even Chinese?

Top 500 support player here as well ( Haven’t played comp this season though), the initial playtest, she does feel subpar, however, after playing games with and against her with all different line-up of support, and as Juno, she does feel nearly balance. Just a few tweaks as you stated.

The crit I am fine without the crit damage, though I do wish they would tweak the sound when you hit body shots slightly more. I beileve people are asking for buff to her healing is because she can not crit and she has fall-off.

Her survivability is good if you know how to use her, though I think most of the people who are asking for buffs to allow her a bit more movement in flight or to her Hyper Ring, which I do agree with.

All in all, she is fun after playing her, and she is definitely weak to DIVE heroes, which is fine, but I do see some small buffs coming to her though. What I noticed or had more success with her is primarily focus on healing, as her healing is actually really good and to play her midline/ off angles.

In the games that I was in, people tried to play her strictly like a flanking DPS and of course, they come back on here on the forums and complain saying she is extremely weak, but if you play her like an Ana and Lucio, she is actually really good.

im not a support main though im a tank main, but support is my second pick most of the time, so thats just like a casual andy take

I really like this new character, but she needs a few adjustments.

  • Its torpes are too slow and run into obstacles 3/4 of the time…
  • Mediblaster’s damage is a little too low, as it doesn’t do critical damage.
  • It’s a bit tricky to heal your allies in the middle of a fight (especially if they’re moving all over the place), as you sometimes shoot wide.

I suggest:

[Pulsar Torpes]

  • Reduce recharge time (10 > 9 sec)
  • Reduce damage (75 > 70 damages)
  • Increase maximum range (40 > 45 or 50 meters)
  • Increase torpes speed and targeting.

[Mediblaster]

  • Can inflict critical hits : headshot ✓ (x1,2)
  • Reduce Basic damage (2.1 - 7 > 2 - 6.5)

[Orbital Ray]

  • Area of effect: 8-meter radius > 10-meter radius.
  • Reduced ult movement speed.
  • Points required: 2600 > 2700

Agreed!

I just played a few games and our teams were about to lose a point and i used the Orbital Ray Ult for extra healing boosting similar to Lifeweavers Ult. If your aim is true, Juno’s Ult is better than Lifeweaver’s Ult because theres no Tree of Life to get in the way.

Not sure why you’re replying with sarcasm. Your suggestion of giving the boost to allies on cast literally exists in the game. I was just pointing it out.

I disagree. The extra cover from ToL has plenty of useful applications. At least Juno’s ult can’t be completely countered by one nade though, so I’ll give her that.
