I don’t get why people enjoy playing Deathmatch but I have no issue with them doing that, and I don’t really need to understand the appeal. Live and let live.
Thanks for nothing, Jeff. Mercy was both popular and fun before her rework. Now she’s popular, because the one thing you didn’t mess with was her standard healing and mobility, save for the GA bug that you ended up keeping as a feature. Her pickrates and winrates are the same because her primary kit is the same as ever - it’s Valkyrie that’s not fun or useful, as you’ve robbed her of her play-making abilities.
High risk high reward supporting has always been something I loved, Mercy was the only option for that in Overwatch.
(Ana however is high risk LOW reward, so lets not even go there. I realize as soon as I say that people are like “BUT ANA!”, yeah but Ana ain’t a reward.)
Just wait until stage 4. You’ll owe me a beer if it turns out that Brigitte will take Mercy’s place.
On the other hand, the fact that I won a game easily in 3 support composition makes me believe that something similar will happen there too in Junkertown.
If you aren’t having fun with Mercy, pick a different hero
What they’re trying to state with statements like these is that there shouldn’t be a thing like a Mercy player, you should be an Overwatch player and use the hero that best suits your comp, not the one you like just for the sake of it, team game, period
