As a 300 hour Mercy main since launch, she’s still had this awkward encouragement of hiding embedded in her kit. The most common example is: you’re healing a team mate, they die. Now that they’ve died, your next, but you can’t run, because Guardian Angelling to them would but you closer to danger, and or your other team mates are already in danger that could make you collateral damage, so you’re always dancing away from the action it feels. I would prefer Guardian Angel be targetless but have charges. That’s all she needs left.

This is why in the first megathread the suggestion was for Valkyrie and Resurrect to be switched.

The E valkyrie doesn’t have to be over complicated, just a Vertical ascent with increase GA target, it was to allow Mercy to engage and pull out of a fight.

GA is Mercy main method of mobility, with skill you can fleet from one team mate to another and farm your heals.

The Aggressive Players would do this prioritising Healing over Resurrecting and denying deaths through healing. Teams would know instinctively to play together because of the nature of Mercy Resurrect.

With single target res, it becomes a any mistake is forgiven. Mercy can res you (if you die sensibly)
