Yea, but ulting from spawn never guarenteed getting a kill.
Take Any 2CP map, for example. Can a junkrat start a rip-tire from spawn and get a 2-3 man kill? Maybe, but more often than not it’ll get destroyed because the exit to spawn is often pretty narrow and predictable.
However, a Mercy could walk out of spawn, press shift + q, and boom, instant team rez, fight is now in their favor. It was a skill-less ult, just like pre-nerf Valk was.
