Yes. When you’re playing Ana you’re actually playing mercy. When you’re playing Zen you’re actually playing mercy. When you’re playing Lucio you’re actually playing mercy. Whenever you’re playing anyone in the support class you’re playing mercy. Every single support is so similar to mercy that every criticism im making of people defending the positon of bring 5 man rez mercy back im insulting every support. How careless of me to miss this hole in my argument.

Nah you are assuming a Mercy player doesn’t switch off to other characters if it isn’t working. There is a difference between a 1 trick and a main hero someone likes to play.

No people don’t like a counter to kills. It makes them “sad” and it hurts their “feelings.” That was the basis of this rework remember that.

God forbid my team was on the receiving end of Resurrect as an ultimate and shunned me to the depths of the earth because I used such a broken and irresponsible ultimate. They had to pay the price of being Resurrected by me and despised every time I pushed Q. Sheesh you got me. You are right the other 11 players shouldn’t suffer my will to have an impactful ultimate once again because “feelings” might get hurt.

Yes. Literally every single support is harder than mercy. Their skill floors and skill ceilings are harder than mercy. Don’t bring battle mercy into this, you and me both know that’s not viable. If you genuinely think Zenyattas skill ceiling and floor is equal to mercys you are not worth arguing with. You are actually just that dumb if you genuinely think that.

Moira, although easy, is harder than Mercy. Moira, at the very least, has much longer escape cooldown, have to keep resource management, and of course have to decide when to damage and when to heal. (inb4 but you need to decide when to damage boost as mercy!!!)

Lucio isnt even an argument. Strategically, he is more demanding. Mechanical is an argument, but not a very close one. You aren’t going to argue this, because I think you arent that disingenuous

Nope, your response was talking about healing. You said nothing about using the other parts of their kits. Because you can’t forget that Mercy has a pistol which actually requires you to GASP aim.

“No aim, no brain, winston main” Winston gets just as much flak for not being mechanical in terms of aim. But his mechanics everywhere else are much more demanding. The boops on his jump, animation cancels, and ult usage to name a few. I get you’re a bosted mercy main that doesn’t bother to learn other characters at the most basic levels, but don’t try arguing this. You are just wrong here.

I said “Symmetra, come on you know better” is because Symmetra gets the most flak out of any other character for being a throwing character, requiring no strategy or mechanics, and not requiring aim.

Already made the argument for moira. “Took a while to get the hang of rez” dude i dont know if im giving you too much credit to think youre smart enough to realize zen clearly takes more skill than mercy. Rez is simple, literally took 30 minutes to get used to it for me.

So you don’t think Mercy needs to prioritize who to heal at what time? When to damage boost? The new techniques which will let you Reverse Guardian Angel out of situations with the new mobility tool from GA (Probably didn’t even know you could do that but hey "Mercy doesn’t do anything besides point click and heal).

Resurrect took much more planning then Valkyrie. Valkyrie as an ultimate is pop and go because anytime is a good time to use it. Your off-support isn’t doing enough healing from poke damage don’t worry Mercy will save you from it. Not doing enough damage don’t worry Mercy will push Q and give you a damage boost. That’s about it. Positioning is something you learn with GA except you are in the air instead of on the ground during Valkyrie. But I mean “Mercy is more skill dependent now.”
