Feedback on Skin Colors and Realism in Overwatch 2

Hi Blizzard team,

I wanted to share some honest feedback about the color choices in many Overwatch skins, especially the overuse of certain tones.

I’m really starting to feel burned out on all the sky-blue and light purple shades used in skins. I’d be totally fine with blue if it leaned more into deep, saturated tones, something that feels strong and intentional. But the current pastel or sky-ish blues often clash with the gritty, realistic metal textures Overwatch is known for. (No offense, but sometimes it reminds me of the color they paint public beach restrooms.)

Also, I’m noticing a lot of brass-toned metal being used, and it’s starting to feel repetitive. I’d love to see more clean silver, polished gold, or even simple steel used in skins. It’d bring a nice variety and match the high-quality detail you already put into character design.

Thanks for reading, and for all the great work on the game!

I’m more numb to all of the skin and leggings they are putting on the cute and petite female heroes. It’s not that I don’t think it’s a good look, it’s just so overused. And when it’s not that, the same heroes get skins while older ones are ignored.

Juno has gotten more skins than several older heroes because they unfortunately didn’t get the same aesthetic design. I think Venture has one premium skin, while Juno’s are almost all premium (read: backed by $$$)

I dislike the most bright and shiny skins. I think it really detracts from the art style of the rest of the game. Most characters I use the default skin. Default skin is often most faithful to the character concept and fits in best with the surroundings

I miss good old black and red skins with little gilded details, that perfectly fit with golden weapons.
