i think reports should be looked in further instead of just emmediatelly seeing it as a strike, i literally just got to endorsement 3 and have now lost my endorsement with probably getting reported with literally only playing 1 game. it was my first game today and it completelly killed my mood. can there please be some looking into it instead of getting an emmediate lose of endorsement. if it is because something else i did i would love to know how i can make it that it doesnt happen again.

Dont talk in chat or you will get reported
Dont type in chat or you will get reported
Dont say anything to anyone in ow1 or ow2 Beta.

I find this very odd that a game thats heavily focused on teamwork,you get punished for ANY kind of team communicationâŚI mean really?

yes i know and its a shame, i have started playing about 5 years ago and it atleast improved is it used to be slurs everywhere and people saying creepy things but this goes a little far. its just such a shame, it kinda ruined it for me today that i lost that as i was happy in a way that it went up and now i am just dissapointed.
You donât just keep your endorsement level, you need to get endorsed every game to maintain your level. One report against you isnât going to affect you endorsement level, only if your account is actioned will you drop to level 1.
If you donât get endorsed every match, your endorsement level will naturally decay.
If you leave matches, this has a huge negative effect on your endorsement level. Like huge. Even just leaving one match.
People donât really give endorsements much anymore, most people leave before potg is done. So donât take it too personally, itâs just a flawed system that doesnât work anymore because people are toxic or indifferent.

You do not get punished for just one match, even if you were throwing slurs around at every other player in the match.
Your endorsement probably just fell because people didnât endorse you recently, thatâs all. It decays over time.

@ this. Maintained level 4 consistently for years but I had a week with some spotty internet and I havenât been able to get back 
Theyâre the guys who came up with an endorsement level, you donât think they linked reports to that in a completely unnecessary way like say:
Making an endorsement and a report carry an equal weight so that players who get reported a lot theoretically have their endorsement drop lower?
(endorsement =+1 report=-1]
Iâm aware that after a penalty you restart your endorsement thing from scratch.
Apart from that though I have seen my theorized Âą thing in action where x guy tried to blame me for everything ever, demanded everyone report me and my endorsement level magically drops.
Maybe Iâm just imagining it, but to me it seems like something theyâd do.

The report system needs fixing. It needs to pass basic logic checks like if the person wasnât even in chat (voice or text), they are immune from toxic chat reports. and if the person is e.g. <500 bronze, and goes into the beta playtest, where the client is filled with bugs and doesnât even confirm the match outcome - they should be whitelisted against false reports from brodude stacks salty that someone is âruiningâ their beta test 5v5 match.
itâs just another one of the in-game systems they wonât/canât find the time to fix.
we know this, because they donât even have an in-game clock. never trust ANY in-game system from a studio that canât even provide an in-game clock.
Endorsement level doesnât mean anything. You need to maintain a certain amount of endorsements per game to get a certain level and it decays. People endorse tanks and supports way more than DPS. And if you play with friends they canât endorse you.
