i had a 3 stack on my team tell all chat to report me for “saying slurs in the vc” when i wasn’t talking and they were the ones saying slurs. will i get banned?

If others keep false reporting you then yes since Blizzard is lazy and has an automated ban system. Even their customer support can’t revert bans since they lack the communication to developers and tools to review matches supposedly.

Even if they all reported you and (magically) got someone’s attention: one quick listen to VC recordings would prove you didn’t say anything.
A report from three people in one match isn’t enough to get you banned I believe, and if their new system works as they say it does, they would be the ones getting banned by listening to the recording.
I dont think reporting does anything anyways as of right now.

You never know with this game. There’s streamers getting banned but the reason why they are unbanned is because they are famous. There’s no way of contacting Blizzard if you would get banned because I’m pretty sure the customer service can’t fix those type of issues. You just have to hope to not get banned. Being reported 1 game does not ban you, you have to be reported multiple times games within a time period I would guess.
Nah, even if you started slinging salacious slurs subsequently; you would be fine.
They have the new tech that transcribes voice chat.
That’s why they updated the report options to have you pick “Text Chat” or “Voice Chat”.
If you didn’t even talk, the voice chat reports will clearly be false.
So long as Blizzard allows chat with the enemy team to continue letting things like this keep happening then eventually.
