Have been trying to queue comp and qp for days, after 2 games it has started to fail to connect to the server for some reason, and leads me to suspension for 15 minutes, 1 hour, 8 hours, etc
i asked my friends and they sometimes also get this problem (this is SG, ASIA server)
seems like I’m inside the game as I can type to Match however I will be stuck in lobby with the spinning “connecting to server”

I got it too. I just queue a comp just now i was opening the overwatch on my scene and i saw i got a game, and it also said “connecting to server” and the role pick bar just said im banned for 8 hours. It keeps happening this full week, which annoys me, can it be fixed.
I’ve had the same experience. I made a post titled ‘Got banned for 8 hours for what?’ I was in the middle of a matchmaking process, connecting to the server, and suddenly got banned. Before that, I had just finished a match and nothing unusual happened. It’s random and happens frequently. I’ve been banned for anywhere between 8 to 19 hours

Keep it up, I even change from Steam to Battlenet, to see if the problem came from Steam or not, but it seem doesn’t matter, whether I use Steam or Battlenet, it still had the same issue “Failed to connect to server”. It’s not just our internet issue, or the game files related issue. Reinstalling doesn’t solve the problem. I’ve guaranteed it.
I got it too and mine was banned from competitive queueing entire season now

Keep this up, still having the same issue.
I’ve already report this case to support team and they said it’s from player side because of disconnection. My account banned from minutes, hours, to entire season 14 for this reason only. They can’t revoke my ban because this is fully automated by system.
I think it’s time to really move on from this game. Got banned from doing nothing and can’t be revoked is insane 
update
i just started playing again after that 8/9 hour ban and i tried playing a normal mode, just one game, it went smoothly it didnt bug, didnt get dissconected or even anything. but after that game i tried queuing a comp, and halfway to the game, the game just suddently said connecting to server, but my wifi is fine everything is running smoothly, no one in my house got any wifi problem at all. and now im banned for 20 hours. I’ll wait for a few days, and see if this will be fixed or not.
on reg open queue is got DC too…but don’t have effect like comp
