Hi all, I am currently outstation for two months in Japan. Previously I played in SEA servers.
I have no problems logging into the game to the UI menu, but when I try to join QP, the game told me I “Failed to connect to server” even though I have found a game.
Any ideas?
They are currently investigating issues for those connecting to SEA servers.
Can we see the source please? I would love to see such myself.
In my case and 3 of my friends who play in the Philippines, we always get errors in trying to get through the “Entering Game…” part of the game. 9/10 of the time, we just get the “Lost connection to the game server” red text on Overwatch. Tried everything on the FAQ already.
I am not connecting to SEA servers though, since I am in Japan. I am trying to play in Japan servers, but it doesn’t work as well.
Can you run a WinMTR for about 10 mins and post results here? That might give us a better idea.
Im not sure if im doing this correctly… I can’t create any Custom Games or even join the training room, so I don’t know the host IP. Since I am in Japan, i tried running the WinMTR using Korea servers. Here are the results:
