Failed to connect to game server. Please try again later

My internet dropped yesterday in the middle of a competitive match
and ever since, “Failed to connect to game server. Please try again later.” for more than 24 hours. Have restarted router & PS4 multiple times, reconfigured internet connection, tried wifi & wired, and currently in process of downloading OW2 to my laptop to test if Im able to connect to that. PS4 has inet connection and is able to play other online games.

Signs in, connects to PSN, search for game server then gets stuck on connecting to game server.

Am I banned from OW? Are other people not able to connect?

EDIT: I am having the same issue on laptop through steam. Can never connect to the game server.

EDIT: Was able to connect to game server if I connect through a hotspot instead of my internet. Any ideas why this would happen? I have not made any changes to my network.

EDIT: I have done a factory reset to my router, still experiencing.

EDIT: I have temporarily disabled the firewall on my router to test if that was the issue, but still experiencing.

Only conclusion that I can come to is that my internet provider, Z4 is causing this. Thoughts?

If connecting the the Hotspot works, then yes, it would be the ISP causing the issue.

I’m so glad to know someone else is having the same experience. I genuinely don’t know how to possibly fix it except for just playing off a hotspot. But if it IS my ISP causing it, then why, and what can I do about it?

Thanks for the insight, but, if that’s the case, then what can I do about it?

Alert them of the issue, then swap to a VPN while you wait for them to fix it.
