Hi I was wondering if any of you guys could help me with an issue I am having, my Alienware pc is completely screwed and needs a factory reset otherwise it’s like a brick and doesn’t work properly, now my question is I play overwatch, heroes of the storm and Starcraft a load, so after the factory reset do I lose all my progress and data eg my levels and skins ? Thanks in advance!
Your progress is directly saved to blizzard’s servers. Your progress is not locally saved on any computer.

You only lose the graphic settings and will probably have to set them again. Everything else is server sided.
Everything is saved at blizzard. Just your personal settings (Like graphical settings, sounds) will be reset to default.
Ah okay thanks you all for your responses so sens settings and that are all needed to be done agian right is that all anything else I lose ?
Think that’s it. Once you get your system running again it may be a good idea to back up the data folders for Overwatch to reduce download time should something go wrong in the future.
Any online game like these that require connecting to play (Overwatch, Destiny 2, etc.) save directly to the server. You will still have all your skins and level progress whenever you get the game downloaded again or even on another system. The only thing that might hurt would be your SR due to decay, if you go long enough without playing.
Controls are saved, graphics settings are not.

Any random game settings you want to keep can be found under
C: - Users - (Your name) - MyDocuments (Documents)
Also, you won’t have to Download game again if you manage to save it to another drive before you format.

Ah okay that’s pretty decent then how long does decay take again?, I’m 3755 sr as of right now on my second account
