I have trouble understanding the whole thing… Even dailies don’t reset at the same time as the regular challenges. It is because of the faction bugs we’ve been having for a week ?
Also, to my understanding, we can switch factions 3 times a week and it looks like weekly faction challenges reset then too (so it’s impossible to reset them more than once a way, or maybe it’s just once per faction ? I don’t get it).
If anyone has all the answers, I’d much appreciate it

I started a thread on this earlier and it looks like it resets 20 hours from choosing a faction.
I don’t know if this is just the day after you choose faction, and then its from something else. Some people were saying it was log in, but faction choice definitely reset it for me right now.
I’ll see what time it says tomorrow.
So I completed overwatch, and swapped to talon. Upon swapping it instantly gave me dailies even though I already did dailies for overwatch. And gave me a new weekly too. So swapping seems to give you dailies and weekly right away.
As for when dailies reset, it’s 20 hours after login/first receiving them when switching. For example at 2pm est yesterday I switched. So if I login now, since 20 hours has passed, I will get new dailies for the next 20 hours. If I don’t log in till say 6pm tonight. Then at that point 20 hours will start, resetting at 2pm the following day.

This system enforces playing a lot more. It’s a bit “meh”…
To get a bunch of the lootboxes, yea. Just to get both starting tracks done is doing dailies most days.
So February 19, I chose a side and it set the timer to 20 hours.
The next day it was 20 hours from log in.
And today, I changed sides again and it didn’t reset the timer. Its still 14 hours on the dailies.
I have also been following the 20 hour guideline this week. Today it resets at 10PM in my zone. Last night it was 2AM Tomorrow it will be 6PM. (I have been forcing myself to log in to “capture” the daily, then play within that next 20 hours)
This also seems to work with the regular challenges too? I have no idea why on earth Blizzard didn’t just set these up to work on 24 hours. Kinda stupid in my view, but I’m sure its some form of engagement thing.
But if you want to max out the faction rewards, you kinda need to do this to earn essentially 8 days of rewards in 7 days. lol
I changed sides two days ago (more like choosing “Overwatch” again than switching sides) and my weekly challenges still haven’t reset (not even after choosing the same side again).
I guess weekly challenges only reset when you switch sides ?
It seems like they don’t reset if you choose to stay in the same faction as the previous one.
Honestly, not sure why a “weekly” challenge would reset at all if you are playing during the week its active…. Perhaps it resets “once” when you change factions, but other than that, I can’t see it changing, except when the next week starts?
But since you can have up to 8 sets of daily events in a 7 day week, that is the one to focus on.
And I fully blame Blizzard for this nonsense. Both putting out a challenge like this, AND not clarifying ANY of the ways the reward system works from the start. Makes it an absolutely frustrating experience, especially for those new to this event, or the very casuals.
I have had to play every single day if I want to earn enough points to unlock most of the rewards. I say most, since its pretty clear you cannot unlock everything.

Probably. It hasn’t this week. It wasn’t supposed to from what I gathered, but then with limited info from Blizzard on this, who knows.
It looks like I was right : the weekly challenges reset only when you switch factions. So I guess it’s more interesting not to choose the same faction twice in a row.
