Played 4 Games of quick play 5vs5 where in which i used 4+5+4+4 ultimate, tho didn’t get progress on more then the first game on the challenge. I’m in overwatch faction, and the details of the quest is:
Overwatch operation: Ultimate
Use your ultimate 12 times. (Exclude Total Mayhem and co-op modes)
Only reason i can figure out is that support ults wouldn’t work, as the first game i played dps and the other i was support, was quite frustrating playing 4 games just to get no progress.
Update/Eddit: it seams to be limited to not work for supports, at least not for zen or jet pack cat i was playing while doing the quest on support. Played Dps (Bastion) and it worked fine
Same bug here. Have been experiencing this through all the event challenge weeks, whenever I have had the bad luck to get this challenge. Have had problems with Zenyatta, Ana, Jetpack Cat, Kiriko or Brig. Sometimes nothing counts, not in the challenge nor in the game replay; so the problem is in the game itself capturing the ultimate counts…
Here a game that I played as Zenyatta and used two ultimates before swapping, and none of them counted: 0KJ4PP
Hopefully this gets fixed soon. Very annoying as a support player to get stuck on this challenge alone every now and then.
I know she isn’t for everyone, but I’ve never had an issue with this challenge when playing Mercy. And she earns ult exceptionally fast if you steal all the heals, and if you’re solo healing in 6v6 even better. Mizuki has also worked for me, and he builds ult fast. I hope either of those two can work for anybody else! Rein, Widow and Hanzo also have fast ult charge, hopefully someone works. And hopefully they fix these bugged out challenges! Shame there’s so many bugged but none have been swapped for better requirements
