Facing rage hacker

Repost in general as well because I’m not sure which of the categories is better.

Code - KWFBNE

The player in question is the red ashe/widow. Have not looked at the entire replay but its obvious on last point attack for blue team, when he’s on widow.

Enemy team didn’t draw when asked. I hate this community so much. Cheater was grouped with red moira, and boosted by red mercy even though everyone was saying he was cheating.

This was a low diamond game btw. Why can’t every rank be like gm where they draw if there’s a cheater in the lobby. Why do people gotta be such scumbags I do not know.

I believe people commonly draw at a GM/T500 level as that is the ladders peak.

Below that, people are still trying to climb.

Yeah but getting free sr from a hacker? Not really a nice thing to do.

I do wish that more people adopted the same mindset across the ladder.

I think it’s not only courteous, but it will almost eradicate cheaters since they will just draw all their games and won’t be as engaging or fun for them.

Yup I agree. One of the enemy tanks just said lol. The other tank told me to shut up and that he reported the cheater.

The cheater and support duo did not say anything throughout the game.

The mercy pocketing the cheater didn’t say anything.

I believe that people like that should also get a suspension from comp at least.

I never cheat and I’m 10000% against all cheating but I will never ‘aim for a draw’ I will always ‘play to win’ period.

Yes I would not listen when you said to play for a draw either.

So ur just taking advantage of having a cheater on your team? Not a nice move at all.

No I play to win, every time, I will report the hacker and advise others to also but playing to a draw is counter to me playing games, I play to win always.

It is still messed up no matter what you do. It is only fair to go draw, what if it was you against the cheater and that after you lose, it was because everybody knew that a cheater screw your game and the enemy team said gid gud to you?

I wouldn’t be alright.

I agree messed up no matter what.
I disagree that playing for a draw is ever ‘fair’ , you should always 100% play to win.

No you shouldn’t it’s not fair. If there is a hacker in a game, you draw. This way the hackers don’t get what they want.

No it isn’t. A hacker is helping you win, and maybe you weren’t supposed to win that game. It messes up everyone’s mmr and sr.

If there is a cheater in the match then it’s by definition not a fair match. Saying “You should always 100% play to win” doesn’t apply anymore. The match is no longer about putting in your best effort.

Playing a game is always about putting in your best effort. The chances are the same that I’m against as with the hacker in any scenario that one is in my match, on my side or against me if I know they are hacking I will report but I will always continue to battle and play to win.

You are not a very nice person.

Incorrect. Playing a game is about having fun. Playing a fair game involves putting in your best effort.

Attempting to win when theres a cheater in the game is just you trying to make yourself feel good by scoring a win. It’d be like drag racing a sports car vs a kid on a big wheel and then claiming you had to put in your 100% when you floored it. It’s not fooling anyone except yourself.

Here is the thing, your analogy is an obvious cheater and that never happens in video games, I report suspected cheaters but as I , and you, have 0 way to know the person is cheating it’s still just a suspicion, Why should I risk my SR and my integrity due to someone else’s cheating ?

Have you watched the replay? That is an obvious cheater, so these things DO happen.

No it’s not, it’s a suspected cheater. Report, play, move on.
Playing to a draw in my opinion is cheating as you are match fixing.

Ok I can’t with you. Your logic is flawed.
