I just don’t trust the matchmaking in f2p games. People call the game rigged now but when there’s an actual incentive for them to rig games I believe they’ll do it like so many other f2p games do.

i do want it to go free so i dont have to keep an xbox live subscription

I’d say part of the premium price of not-free is a better match quality. - Don’t get me wrong, there still is and will always be bad apples, but man. Take paladins matchmaking for example, you get actual infants on their mum’s 10 year old laptop on your team and theres nothing you can do about it. Make it a dollar or something at LEAST, please.

well you are not going to like the truth then

They consider all ranks and always have. changes have been made and not made for the sake of low ranks before

(Anthem business model)

Yeah let’s not destroy the game to appease the .1% of the population of this game that thinks they can be pro.

I said it before and I’ll say it again a strange part of this forum just think throwing money at the game will make it better. Or worse they want to pass more cost off to the consumer and adding a subscription ? You think people will are all of a sudden going to be better players because they have to pay? I can tell you that if you add subscription the toxic levels will become nuclear.

They could make the game f2p in a way valorant does but the problem is that OW is not ran by riot

You cannot eliminate it but you sure can put in things to disincentive it.

  • SMS Auth

  • Paid sub per account for Comp

  • MMR/SR decay on accounts

  • Machine Learning tools easily spot Smurfing (ie throwing down to play up repeatedly in unnatural curves of behavior)

A lot can be done to stem it; nothing will stop it. It’s like trying to absolutely guarantee no one can break into your house; you cannot do it. OTOH, you can take quite a few steps to stop the person less determined… which is quite a few people.

You wouldn’t have multiple twitter accounts for a monthly fee, not as many I am sure.
