Hi, I’m having problems trying to bind F13 to F24 function keys.
It seems the game doesn’t get input from those keys
Those are not standard keyboard keys, they are custom macro keys on your keyboard. I’m not sure if you can assign them to binds in Overwatch because macros aren’t allowed.
They are not macros, they are like any other F1-12
Are you playing on a Mac? Overwatch for Mac isn’t supported.
Nicole is right. These are actually not regular keys. They are macro keys on your keyboard. You cannot bind them in Overwatch becuase they are not standard keys that are not part of the regular keyboard standard for a QWERTY keyboard. Even Windows itself doesn’t know what to do with these keys – they need to be setup in your keyboard software.
I’m assuming this is a Logitech keyboard?
Let me clear some things up here. F13-24 exist in the standards that AT & PS/2 keyboards use and are fully supported by Microsoft Windows. However most keyboards currently in production do not include them. They are often used for accessibility tools such as foot pedals or bump switches.
I have also ran into this problem but luckily for me I was able to remap the device to use one of the number pad keys instead. If anyone still has this problem and they cannot remap their device in its own software then AutoHotKey may be able to help. (But probably best to check with support first in case it could trigger anti-cheat detection)
