It’s already bad that we have to wait like 5 weeks for every stage to go through, but it’s getting to the point where it’s a completely different game we’re playing from the pro’s because the balance between the 2 gets further away from each other with each stage!
Reaper and Mei were buffed so long ago and yet there new versions are just now making it into stage 4…
Hanzo is reworked and very important to learn from, but we won’t see it in stage 4 for some reason, yet the Brigitte nerfs are going to make it to stage 4… that’s never even happened in the main game how are we supposed to learn from this?!
Please don’t make the big mistake of not including all of the current balance changes in this upcoming stage… We want to watch something that is actually true to the real game, and what we can actually learn from, such as new strategies and meta’s that are not inaccurate!

It really doesn’t make too much sense to not add in how the game is now when its just the start of a Stage. Sure in the middle its really difficult to change the patch the pros play on, especially if it was something like Hanzo’s. However here with them having a week to practice before the stage even starts it is enough time for them to practice with the patch and use it with Stage 4. It is going to really disengage the audience to see something like Hanzo’s Scatter when we haven’t had it for what will be a month towards the end of he Stage.
Idk what they are thinking using an old patch. Nobody cares about how the game was a month ago, they want to see the pro players in the current patch.
Tell me why they would patch the league in a middle of the stage?
They wouldn’t bc these teams practice and skrim so much you cannot just throw changes in there without the teams practicing.
It’s totally fair to keep the changes until after the stage if they are introduced in the middle.
That’s what people are complaining about, stage 3 is over but they aren’t using the current patch for stage 4

If there’s no buffed Hanzo, Florida will go 0-10, because only TviQ plays projectiles, and he hasn’t been playing great recently, but Hanzo is his strongest hero
I think most people agree. Sideshow confirmed Seagull’s speculation, and you could tell by his tone of voice that he didn’t agree lol. I’m pretty sure most players want the new Hanzo too.

At the time no one knew for sure whether Seagull knew or he was just speculating because of the way he phrased it.

Seems SUPER stupid to not push the Hanzo patch in.
I agree, and apparently the teams and players do too. There are even some petitions that are gaining decent traction to get that patch into OWL.
Well, maybe teams need some time to get used to changes?
That seems so nonsensical to me. Its not like they are not playing all the time, with the most innate skill across the player base.
Its not like they are not grinding out comp right now. 
They can adapt, get them on the patch before the stage starts!

Lately there’s been more Widowmakers instead of Genjis. Without that Widowmaker to keep the other in check, most teams get destroyed.
