While I was fooling around in the training range, I came across a bug that refunded Widowmaker’s grapple. If you use it on a wall in front of you, then immediately jump, you can get momentum. The refund comes from a recent patch that made it so that if you (assumingly accidentally) used Widow’s grapple on a surface right in front of you, then the cooldown would be refunded.

I’ve tried replicating this but I can’t seem to.
The hook instantly gets canceled when it hits the wall, can you explain further how to do it?
Also, would you say it’s a random occurrence (the momentum) or there’s a timing with the button presses for it to happen?
Press shift close to a wall, looking slightly upward (similar to video) then press space quickly after your grapple hits the wall. (The part where I “showed the refund” was me ****ing up)
I can’t seem to do it 
I think the chances of this happening is very minimal and don’t see it to be actually exploitable if it does not work 100% of the time.
