I am a brazilian and i wanted to check out the brazilian hero of overwatch Lucio but when i saw it the first thing that came on my mind was How does he Heals and gives speed with music? Then i decided to study the lore and the effects of music on people so this is my theory. Lucio stole a hard light projector from vishkar thats on the lore this projector or better said hes weapon has the ability to use hard light knowing that here is how it works. Lucio has 3 types of music ( Jazz health, eletronic speed, and bass boost Shield or ult)
The calm music such as jazz or piano music lower the hearthrate of people making them feel more calm wich makes the hearth beat slower wich makes the blood come out slower and then with the hard light particles it patches the wounds so the body can heal its self slowly thats why he dosent heals instantly.
The eletronic music or lived music does the complete oposite it increases the hearthrate speed and also can inject adrelanile in certain situations taking use of that music the hard light particles travel to the arms and legs of the targeted people allowing them to move faster but because lucios weapon was a prototype the hard light dosent stays forever it only stays when its nearby the source.
The Suprise bass boost gives adrenaline just like the eletronic music but this time the hard light particles travel to the targeted people body and become a second skin giving them armor.
