Please blizzard or a blizzard fanboy please explain to me how this makes any sense. You might call me a madman for saying this but I believe a stack of five should only be playing against another stack of five.

Only if you can explain to me the logic of being a solo player in a team-based game and why you should be protected from the consequences of that decision.
Do you know what you are saying in your statement… you pretty much want all team based games to die… due to forcing people to have to make friends…
Games are meant to be enjoyed with oneself AND OTHERS but its not exclusive, and being a solo player is still playing with other people…
so if you mess over solo players the easy wins groups get when they are having loss streaks vs better groups begins to unravel…
why do you think gm has limited grouping capabilities… So I think my friend is right in that it is unfair as blizzard actively acknowledges that truth in MM.

He has a life and it takes precedence over trying to socialize and make friends on the most toxic game. Where players will judge you for the smallest thing, such as why is he playing rein into orissa.

I play Reinhardt into Orisa because I want to play Reinhardt. The Orisa has nothing to do with it. I do not let other people make decisions for me. That’s beta.
Because it’s poor sportsmanship? Doesn’t blizzard like to preach over and over about fairness?
How is it poor sportsmanship? It’s just applying the teamwork skill. That’s like saying actually aiming your shots is poor sportsmanship.
simple, it’s a team based game in that when you enter a game, you are on a team,
because the game facilitates solo play. if the didnt want that, then they should have made it to where you can only queue for games if you were on a pre made team

Go and play comp so you have those restrictions auto added for you. No point in having them in qp. In comp 5 stacks only get paired with other 5 or 3/2 stacks i believe.
are we really going to pretend that being able to pick your own teammates isn’t a pretty big advantage as it removes the RNG elements from matchmaking.

If you’re solo against a 5-stack, you’re playing with a 4-stack on your team. Matchmaking heavily prioritizes group size in every mode. It’ll almost always put 5 against 5. It’s extremely rare that it’d happen any other way.
so solo queue players shouldnt be able to have fun in QP? only the pre mades?
so, in my QP games, stacks are extremely common. A lot of times, the entire other team is grouped. Now, it may not be all 1 5 stack, it might be a 3/2 stack, sometimes its a 4 stack and a solo. And you may be right, the other 4 on my team my also be a 4 stack and im the solo. That’s fine, but why does it have to be a bunch of plats through masters? This is what I dont get. At silver 4, I should be seeing more gold and silver games in QP, but im not, im seeing an exceedingly high level of plat and diamond players. Sometimes, they are not even a stack. The other day, I had a game that had 3 players in it that were diamond to masters in different roles, and they were 3 single players… HOW did I end up in that lobby?? That’s what I want to know

Oh, I can explain, if your hidden rating has dropped, you must lose for the visible one to equalize. And it doesn’t matter who you lose to, a stack of 5 people or a random one.
Then remove the option of queuing as solo player and only let 5vs5 stacks but also with friend list only.

Its called quick play I doubt people would want to wait on 15min - 20 min ques we have in ranked when in a 5stack. That is why that rule doesnt exist here que times would only be longer
The problem with this is that queues to face another stack would be really long and will only get longer the higher up the ladder you go.

There’s no logic to it because its an unfair match eitherway.
They are only making matches based upon time constraints. Not based upon quality, because clearly they dont have enough players in all regions.
I can’t think of the last time I ever once remember a WoW match being a Fair pvp one, or an Overwatch match being Fair after Q4 of 2017. Yet they wonder why they receive such bad feedback, despite if they just went back to the old system it would pan out again.
ok, so you could have just said that solo players are not meant to have fun in QP then…that would have been easier.
