i dont know what going on with my rank. im 3120 (32). It show im top 500 in no limts comp but my rank in around 3100.
very few people play the competitive modes outside of regular comp. combine this with many users not using their phone number to authenticate there accounts and many not playing the required amount of games, and you get top 500 that’s in diamond. lucios balls top 500 for example often is around diamond for a while when it first starts. you may also be in a region with a lower population which only adds to this.

I play in the EU region so I think there are enough players, but there are players that are higher ranked than me and not top 500.

to be top 500 at all you are required to play like 50 games of that season, maybe it’s less but its at least 30 games. you also need to have a number tied to your account which many many people do not set up. So yes there are people higher sr than you, but there are less than 500 people who are higher than you and also meet the requirements to become top 500. im in NA and lucio ball is still top 500 at mid diamond often. almost all the spin off ranked modes have very low playerbases.
