Because of how genji got the powercreep I wanted. I’ve been wondering on what changes overwatch should get now, so heres my idea
Doomfist
Uppercut recovery time nerf revert
-Middle circle in meteor strike causes 600 Damage
this may seem like too much but literally every other ult meant to one shot does at least 600 damage from a full blast like junk tire, pharah barrage, dva bomb
Reaper
-Increase speed of teleport
This way Fade wont be forced as an escape and it will be made as an ability to avoid cc like it was supposed to be without having to disengage
soldier buff was fine. Doom nerf should be reverted with the buffs i suggested along side the ones getquakedon suggested
Hanzo should have storm arrow nerfed
Pharmercy nerf would be good. They should nerf FTH
bastion and sombra rework, i still feel mei AND sym can use some small buffs (make mei a tank ), moira needs something, reaper maybe that float horizontally in ghost form form april fools experiment. soldier reload while sprinting. widowmaker mine buff and maybe a better smg
Recon
– Damage increased from 6 - 20 to 10 - 25
– Falloff range increased from 25 - 45 to 30 - 50
– Rate of fire decreased from 8 rounds per sec to 7 rounds per second
– Ammo increased from 35 to 45
Sentry
– Damage decreased from 4.5 - 15 to 3 - 15
– Falloff decreased from 30 - 50 to 25 - 45
– Ammo decreased from 300 to 250
– Reload time decreased from 2.1 seconds to 1.75 seconds
Tank
– Casting time reduced from 1.5 seconds to 1 second
Yes I know. But you can destroy Rip Tire and/or kill Junkrat while it’s active, Dva’s Nuke takes 3 seconds to go off and gives a big warning, and Pharah stands still completely still during Barrage.
Meteor Strike gives Doomfist complete invulnerability for its duration. And now it halves all his cooldowns too
People need to understand Mercy’s damage boost is really not an issue. The only unit that kills faster with it in a guaranteed manner is Reinhardt now. 85 + dmg bst is 100+ dmg per swing getting a 2hit kill. No other units converts a guaranteed kill like that. Your honestly more likely to die to a zenyatta + discord and other unit faster than you are from someone boosted by mercy. The only time Mercy’s dmg helps is in regards to overcoming another healer’s healing or if another ally already weakened a target for you. Boosting mccree or ashe doesn’t let them kill kill a full health target any faster.
Pharah/Mercy is a good concern. Its been predominately handled by 50% fall off damage on hitscan, but lead to hitscan being too good. I think the bigger change is just letting Pharah not stay in the air as long. She used to see very little usage until maintaining near infinite flight was a thing.
Hanzo Storm Arrow could probably get moved into more of a rapid fire mode. 40dmg per arrow, but you fire like 10 of them and none can headshot. Something like that.
McCree fan the hammer I think is better done with a fall-off nerf. It has no need for a cooldown. It just needs to have a super sharp falloff after like 5m. There is no reason you should be trying to fan the hammer someone from 10m out and actually getting damage with it.
It really is not. There are worse units like Ana who provides free anti-nades and sleep dart. Even Zenyatta is better because free reign to shoot discord orb to boost the entire team and his own damage.
At best, she’s mostly viable for mid-tier play because she’s the easiest support to play when your poor at the game, but everyone around you is just good enough to make her stuff viable.
When you get to higher tier play she’s completely outshone by other units value such as Zen, Brig, Ana, and Baptiste for having stronger effects when your better at overwatch. At low tier play, Mercy is quite bad because she gives up all individual ability to boost people who are pretty poor at overwatch meaning if your any good at OW you’d provide better value on a carry support.
