So I think it would be fun to actualy have experimental card starting with something like this. Not only it would be fun but it could actualy make a lot of people to maybe change opinion probably.
So my suggestion for two experimental cards:
Complete reset of everyone, meaning every account will be acting as completely new fresh account at lvl 25 without match history and SR/MMR.
Removal of MMR and using only SR for competitive mode.
Would you like to see that? Do you have any other interesting ideas?
I didnt say its dumb decision but it would be fun to try it so many people who want MMR reset would see its not good idea. A lot of people would like to have rank reset so why not try it
I like the second option and I do believe the matchmaker works too hard to determine a 50 50 when no matchmaker that I would consider good should be trying to do this.
I would like a add on to be gold’s with golds. Plats with plats. So on. The combination of MMR and role q makes wait times longer when it’s trying to use stats to determine it’s 50 50.
People will most likely climb and fall more naturally wiithout the MMR system trying to determine whats fair.
It’d be fun to see people think reset will help them climb getting disappointed. On the other hand, there are people who just don’t have enough time to grind and it’d help them.
As for 2, I always say that either mmr or sr is unnecessary, one of them is good enough so yeah I’d like to see that too.
It all depends how serious people will take the experiment mode. If it’s gonna be like ptr, then I’d say it’ll be useless. Honestly at this point, all I want is some changes and new excitement. I’m getting bored of the game and I don’t think I’m the only one.
Well only reason why I dont go to PTR and I believe many others dont too is that I will not have anything from it. No experience, no cp points, nothing. I just dont see reason to go to PTR really unless there was some kind of big change related to heroes I main so I wanted to be prepared.
What do you mean? If I am not mistaken, experimental card wont influence normal comp in any way. It would be like PTR but withtout going to different server.
The funniest part would be seeing people post about how their lucky placement validates the idea that the system was keeping them down, just before they get curbstomped back to their rank by all the smurfs returning from their free trip to bronze

Once I get paired with an OWL player on QP on the ptr mode, it was fun. (I don’t remember rn who was, but I taked screenshot and get confirmation it was an owl player)
Now this SEEMED like a fun idea, until I realized that virtually every troll that exists in this game would log in just to obliterate their own team ad nauseum. And then the mode would get boring in a hurry.
As for the idea about playing with OWL players, there’s something to this idea. It could be on a night when OWL is off, and every player in the league makes themselves available for a short time in QP. You’d have to queue for it specifically and in every match, there’d be one OWL player on each team.
Then see what happens. Wouldn’t necessarily be a test of skill, but more of an fun opportunity to cut your teeth against the pros. I’d jump at the chance, even knowing I’ll get repeatedly pwned.
