It took 2 placement games for me to want to avoid 8 people.

Just so you know, your avoid slots affect other people’s teams and other’s people’s queue times.

Instead of expanding it and provide just higher q time to find another handicapping teammate, they need to make that next match avoided players have to play against you (at least for one match)
I don’t really care. I want to be able to avoid the thousands and thousands of absolute idiots this game has to offer.
I’d rather have added queue time than have tanks with no W button, supports playing as DPS and just the overall idiots on my team. I shouldn’t be forced to have to play with them, nobody should.

Yes please. At least I personally would desperately need these avoid slots as seeing the same faces in the game is so common nowadays that you get players who have been trolling/throwing/being toxic in your games so often that I’m leaving matches perhaps even more because of this than dodging Paris/HLC/Volskaya defense, and it’s extremely demoralizing when it happens
By being able to actually avoid all these players it would make a complete 180 on this issue and instead of quitting playing and sessions because of this, I would actually be induced to play more and more so I could get these players as opponents and then revenge stomp them whenever I would get them as my opponents. Because there’s nothing more satisfying in this game than having a toxic loudmouth thrower in your team only for you to absolutely wreck them afterwards

They said they would expand it if they could, next to that no reason for them not to expand them.
Gotta have to deal with it, apparently, it will still affect the queue times in a major way.
So selfish… I couldnt care less for your queue times, I’m talking about other people’s queue times. If everyone had more avoid slots, queue times would be so long for everyone, even if you didn’t avoid someone. People who have transcended past tilting at a 5 year old game could care less about the quality of teammates, I just want games.

No. There is a competitive mode. Some of us actually want to compete, win, and climb. This game is designed to require teamwork. We don’t have that 90% of the time. I would much rather have long q times than throwers every other match.

The growth in queue times is somewhat exponential, I’m not gonna retype it all again so I’ll see if I can find it again.
Though if everyone has increased avoid slots queue times will go quick.
You’ll get queue times longer than the matches themselves… it would be more efficient to set up a new LFG system.
Sorry but, play better or behave better and that wouldn’t happen.
Next time somebody is being a complete tool, maybe tell them to “shut up, for all our sakes”… Instead of going along with them. That would boost your queue times.
Them being idiots is the issue, not people wanting to avoid them. You’re attacking the wrong crowd.

Form or join a group. Make friends. It’s your best option to avoid trolls. Best of luck out there!

It should be least be able to accommodate an entire team.
I’m being realistic, ofc I want to play seriously, but what can you do against so many trolls? It’s just unrealistic to say to “add more avoid slots” when that creates a whole 'nother list of problems. You personally might not mind queue times, but you have to keep in mind if YOUR queue times are long, someone elses is probably long as well. I used to be the person who was all for “competitive integrity” but after seeing the route of which comp mode has taken, avoid slots are the least of the problems, at least to me. Blizz just needs to punish better

The problem with this is that when they were on my team, they were absolutely throwing on a random hero they were just practicing. But then when they’re on the enemy team, suddenly they pick their main and carry. 
it’s easy for you to say that
You know as well as I do that Blizzard does not make the tools for that.
LFG is only for derankers and 
people. It doesn’t help that no one is willingly playing this game anymore. Hell, none of my actual friends like this game, I’m the only one left.
