Excessive Script Load

Every custom game I play ends saying excessive script load. Any solutions to this problem? I’m not making a custom game, I’m just playing them.

You need to look into the code, to solve it, the direct way would be to pick another version of the mdoe you play that do not cause any issues.

It’s every single custom game. Not just one. It doesn’t matter what custom game it is. And I didn’t make the custom games, someone else did. The custom games are saved presets and worked yesterday and every other day before that.

You are a special case then, did you do something else on your machine, changed settings, hardware or sofware updates today, how old are these modes? Cause from blizzards side any patch is not public yet that would cause troubles. Still you should look into code or share it here so we can look into it, so far i have no problems, my net connection is stable and my system is up to date. The last step would be a technical bug report, and send a ticket to blizzards tech support division.

It fixed itself. A day later it all started working again. I didn’t do anything to fix it. I assume it was an Overwatch bug.

Maybe not entirely a bug, glad you have no issues now. The specific reason why that issue popped up can’t be determined by extern, i guess depending on traffic schedules or maintaince routines of the server provides / centers blizzard is contracted to, there were no space left to give a portion of network replication bandwith to start a custom game instance anymore, while an atempt to give pass and connect to from your client it somehow failed, that failure got detected and the system or architecture behind the scenes looked for another option by using and try to connect to another center maybe not best available for your region, but due to timeouts depending where you connect from to it failed as well, so the error might be not actually were an error of excessive server load it was network error, it happens time to time for everyone. The strange thing is that it seemed you only were affected for a whole long day :thinking:.

I’ve been dealing with the same since yesterday, im going to try some other options to see what happens
