Let me start by saying I love this game and it’s one of my favourite games of all time. This is just my personal opinion and I don’t want to generalize but I feel like the game takes one step forward and then three steps back…
- PvE is gone
– Overall cancelled
– No more missions
– Invasion pack now being absolutely useless since you can not find a game anymore
– Coop modes not or rarely coming back (Junkenstein, Archives etc.)
- Monetization
– I don’t think we have to discuss this, but the pricing is a joke
– Fake discounts
– Fear of missing out
– Battlepass getting worse with each season (I think people dont’t want sprays or souvenirs)
– The promised weapon inspection being locked behind a paywall aka mythic weapon skins where, again, the pricing is a JOKE
– Too many recolor skins
– New heroes being released without epic and legendary skins (so you can buy them in the shop with premium coins)
- Social Aspetcs
– People are afraid to communicate (talking and typing in chat) because of the abusive report system in a team shooter
– NO TRANSAPRENCY regarding the “Defense Matrix”
– AI managing the reports and ticket responses
- Gameplay
– Matchmaking doesn’t seem quite right
– Too much experimenting on fixing the “tank-issue” leading to other roles feeling really frustrating
– HP nerf on certain heroes being questionable
– Heal debuff being questionable
– Hitbox and projectile changes that no one asked for which leads to higher TTK aka spawn simulator
– Overall the games feel more like deathmatch rather than a team game
– Winning a game doesn’t feel good anymore → unrewarding
- Features
– No after game chat/lobby
– No card system (OW1)
– Missing my portrait from OW1
– Bring back Lootboxes…?
I think I forgot a lot of points but I really like to hear other opinions or how you guys feel about the game in general. I can see why people on the forums are frustrated but I also witness a lot of trolls who aren’t able to deliver constructive criticism - so on that regard please don’t insult each other in the comment section! If I see some good points from other people I might add it to the list
