Everything Unobtainable In OW2

I think we really need a post from Blizzard letting us know what is going and what is staying for OW2 so we can plan our playtime. Please post any confirmed or rumored things to be removed in ow2 and I’ll add them to the list.

-Portrait Boarders (Rumor) - Portrait boarders, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Plat that are gained by player experience are rumored to be removed in OW2

-Skins? (Unknown) - It is confirmed that OW1 skins will transfer to OW2 but we do not know if they will be obtainable if you have not already collected them.

-Gold Guns (Rumor) - Gold guns will still be in OW2 but they are rumored to be unobtainable if you have not already collected them.

-Loot Boxes (Rumor) - Based on OW2 having a lower age requirement in Europe, it is believed Loot Boxes will be removed in OW2. We dont know what will happen to unopened loot boxes or save currency.

-2cp maps (Confirmed) - 2cp is going to be removed from quick and competitive play, if there are any achievements from these maps you need get them now.

-1 Tank (Confirmed) - OW2 is going 5v5, say goodbye to all those tank voice line interactions. Enjoy Tank synergies while you can. Say goodbye to any tank ult combo’s. (unless you have a echo on your team)

-Events (Rumor) - It is rumored that this will be our last Halloween Terror event. I’ve only heard Halloween Terror mentioned, but I’m guessing if this rumor is true that means we wont have any of the other events. This might mean this will be our last chance to buy anything that comes with these events.

-Remix Skins (Rumor) - Rumor is these recolor skins will be a one time deal, if you do not get them during these Remix events you will never have another opportunity.

Don’t forget all the stuff they throw behind future paywalls that we used to be able to get by just playing the game

Yeah i think it’s about time they actually reveal some of theae stuff because it would be really good to know beforehand.

I want to know what’ll happen to my 168,000 credits. I just spent 15,000 too. Do I just lose them? If I knew I could use them in OW2 I would continue grinding but the game is incredibly unfun to play at all right now so I just bought the remix skins (got Mage Mercy in my free box).

Pretty much all we have to go on is rumors, I’ve also seen people convinced that events are gone in ow2 and people convinced that events will be the same in ow2. We really do not know until blizz gives us some official information. If some of the skins will become unavailable to acquire in ow2 I think they should tell us so we can grind them out.
