Hammond needs a buff. Everyone counters this poor little gerbil in one way or another… Does any other hero have as many counters as Hammond does?
Heros that counter Hammond:
Mei - freeze the gerbil
Roadhog - hook the gerbil
Mcree - stun the gerbil
Brig - stun
Rein - charge cancels hook
Lucio - boop cancels hook
any sniper hero - sniping against biggest hit box in game
Ana - sleep the gerbil
Bastion - shooting a gerbil in a barrel
Doom
Dva
Genji can deflect
Junk can trap
Orisa
Hammond relies on his mobility to go in and out of encounters… take his mobility away and it’s hard to be useful.

First of all you forgot reaper and using your flawed logic, Hammond counters Hammond because he can boop you

Agreed, Mei is a counter, but counters to his mobility are necessary or he becomes oppressive.
Roadhog - hook the gerbil
Another decent but not necessarily unworkable counter, a hook isn’t as much of a death sentence as a Mei paying attention to you
Mcree - stun the gerbil
Same thing, stuns suck but on their own are not anything more than guaranteed damage.
Brig - stun
… and then she does next to no damage and literally pushes WB away with the rest of her skills.
Rein - charge cancels hook
… yah… it should if you can hit WB with this. This is not an easy thing to land on a WB in motion.
Lucio - boop cancels hook
and pushes WB away, letting him escape to try again.
any sniper hero - sniping against biggest hit box in game
with no head hitbox the damage is not great but you shouldn’t be standing still … get moving, get random and you won’t get hit.
Ana - sleep the gerbil
as a WB player I absolutely hate Ana. But she’s just another hard counter. Sleep , bio grenade are a death sentence but 2 cooldowns AND teammate help to kill you isn’t unfair.
Bastion - shooting a gerbil in a barrel
This is bastions THING… damage. it’s all he’s got.

Junk can trap
Junk is another person to avoid as WB but he’s squishy enough that as long as you keep track of him you can delete him. But his traps are a death sentence… however… just another counter.
Orisa
… halt? I guess? cool but not a counter. just an inconvenience
you kinda forgot his worst counter: Sombra. Sombra is usually best dealt with as WB by just swapping off since a hacked WB is a dead WB. She is the only one who counters him this hard though and still requires followup from her team to finish him off.
