What are everyone’s middle names? We have Francis for Soldier, let’s brainstorm more, shall we?
In no particular order:
- Gabriel Miguel Reyes
- Wildhelm Sigmunt Reinhardt
- Bastion Bolt E54
- Torbjorn Ingav Lindholm
- Angela Sophie Zeigler
and closest to my heart
- Genji Naruto Shimada
Aren’t middle names an American thing?
I know people sometimes are given a middle name around Europe, if the parents want to be extra, but most characters wouldn’t have one.
I highly doubt anyone else other than McCree, Reaper and Zarya have them.

In France, we do have multiple names, but like, we never use them, just the first one. On our ID card, you have written Prénom(s) which means Names(s), it’s not called “middle name” here. It’s a traditionnal thing to give your kid a second (or more) name I guess? Because almost every one has them, you just dont know it until you read the ID card of your friends =)

It’s unlikely Zarya would have a middle name
In the UK it is uncommon not to have a middle name.
Genji Sparrow Shimada! I know it’s very likely a nickname but it could be a middle name too?
Russians have middle names, but they are different than Americans. They are patronemics. If Zarya’s father was named Vladimir, her middle name should be Vladimirovna. Correct me if I am wrong.
They aren’t middle names, though, they are patronyms. You can have both.
To an American, patronyms and maiden names are the same as middle names. I have a maiden name, which people in the Americas treat as a Middle Name.
Well, fine, in that case they work
For who?

She definitly has it. In Russia all citizens get patronymic as their middle name.
Yeah, I didn’t consider it a middle name, that’s why I said it. I guess it technically counts, but Russians don’t see it as such.
Well, they are. And for all Westeners it counts as middle name.

I think Lucio has two last names instead of a middle name and a last name (Correia being his mother’s last name and dos Santos being his father’s last name).
I can’t post links, but Wikipedia has an article on Portuguese names you can check out.
