When i was growing up i never saw august as a summer month tbh.
August can be the hottest month of the year. It feels very much like summer where I live.
August was always the summer holidays when I was a kid, so I tend to see it as the summer month - even if ends up not being so glorious, here in rainy old Blighty.

I pretty much must’ve just ingrained this August = Harvest = Fall in my head for some reason.
Even tho harvest season is not really until late sept.
It’s just so drilled into my head that hearing august = summer just feels wrong.
Same, I always counted August as the start of Autumn/Fall pretty much.
In my country July is always the summer month

Yeah it is very weird especially when most games starts their summer events in June.
It is a bit funny. Yes, it is a summer month. But events in Germany are basically not happening in August and start indoors in September again.
