Every win is ‘expected’

Yet every loss is volatile

Hmmmmmmm. Sureeeee. Fair that i go up 18% for a win and drop 30-40% for a loss everytime

Transparency has just shown us players how rigged the game is and confirmed what we have believed for so long

You know, Quasimodo predicted all of this.

It hasn’t. What’s happened is you’ve got your subscription to the rigged myth in one hand and some information that you feel aligns in the other and slapped it together and called it proof.

I mean, i’ve never seen anyone drop more than 22% except for “Volatile”

However, I think to maintain your rank you should have to win around 57% of your games and to climb you should have a 60+ winrate.

No complaints from me.

Ummmm no?
50% should maintain your rank lol. If you are winning the same as losing you should be neutral

Anything above 50% you should climb, anything below 50% and you should fall.

The distance either side from 50% you are the faster you should go in that direction until you reach a point where your wr averages to 50%

That is just objectively how it should be

That rewards bad players IMO. You should not get rewarded with whatever your rank is without being above average.

Its what I think and, atleast in GM+ rn, how it is.

Maybe for lower elo players they could keep 50% since they play more casually?

It’s not rigged. The matchmaker doesn’t know how to make balanced matches because everything was based off the initial coin flip with win/loss being the only ranking condition. It would require a far more sophisticated system to be capable of rigging the matches. I used to have an opinion that you’d get forced losses, but now I see it for what it is due to this clarity and the “reset”. It’s just random.

If you are at a rank, having a 50% means you belong around there since you win and lose just as much lol

Dropping people for being where they should be is just terrible

If you are above average for your rank you will climb higher eventually because your wr is higher than 50%

Again, I don’t think so. Maybe for lower ranks but GM+ players should not be able to rank up without being SIGNIFICANTLY better than the others in their lobby.

Also not rlly on this topic anymore but if its rigged how does being an above average player = winrate???

This is why I told folks, start recording the outcomes. Have some tangible evidence.

If one player is always expected, then yea something isn’t right. You’re stuck in a window of variables and conditions that you should always win… that doesn’t seem fair.

If they are significantly better then they will naturally rank up higher than people who arent as good? Lol.

That player will eventually climb to a point where suddenly they aren’t significantly better than everyone else, maybe only a little bit better or even equal, and then their wr will plateau to 50% and thats where they will stay.

All my losses remove around 25-35%. I have also not seen a single modifier for a win/loss in over a week. So no it does not take Volatile to loss more than 25%.

Few are, many are bad and get carried or carry each other with easy strategies like communication vulnerable/focus targets and combos.
