This is one of the biggest problems in this game. I can never nor do I ever want to play on my main account and play with friends because of this hidden MMR system. I always have to play on an alt or something otherwise the games are freaking impossible. I have to sweat out of my mind just for us to win a game. I can’t just chill and play whatever I want without the game feeling so bad to play for me and everyone involved. I play on a smurf no issue whatsoever, everyones having a great time. Stop with this strict hidden mmr stuff in quickplay, we have competitive for that stuff. It is so frustrating having to do a battle pass for this game with friends because I have to play on my main account and games are legit insanely difficult even when i haven’t played on it for so long. Why is the decay not kicking in if I haven’t played on the main for a while? Heck if I know. But honestly this game is so infuriating to play when I’m on my main account that it’s just upsetting. Let me play with my friends, I don’t want to have to try hard every single game on my best character, let me play other characters too without having to stress oh we’re gonna lose this game because I’m not playing meta picks and doing double the damage as everyone else. This is my rant and in my opinion why this game is struggling to compete with Rivals. In Rivals, I literally can select any hero and sometimes sure it doesn’t work out in my favor, but the games don’t feel freaking impossibe and hard to win. Everyone has a good time and chills. I literally went on a 10 game lose streak in Overwatch just because I didn’t feel like try harding and min maxing my picks. I played at an average level for the most part, did my role. But if I’m not hard carrying on something that im insane at, the game is literally just unwinnable it feels like. I’m just ranting, I don’t feel like organizing this whole thing just so some people can be like oh wow very well written, clear and concise post. But just wanted to spit out why I think this game struggles overall, it feels like an uphill battle which creates a smurf problem in order to just have fun. Everything just feels so strict and that makes the game feel so annoying.
Adding to this, as I tried to submit this it said I couldn’t make a post with the word a$$ in it, like really guys? Is that really so offensive? It’s starting to feel like this game is so tight, loosen up and maybe your game will start to not feel so frustrating for people.
