Releasing 2/2/2, the new hero, or new content delays the time before it’s implementation into the live servers.
At this point, it feels like a lifetime between legitimate content updates. Keyword is legitimate.

They are not delaying anything, you are just hyping alone dude.
They didnt even said that 2 2 2 gona come soon, they only WORK ON IT, chill.

Forced 222 was leaked for stage 4 which more or less makes a dev update necessary. They asserted dates would move which actually implies summer games would start earlier. That is probably why the hero is not here on the reverse, however. That being said, we have 3 years of precedent and it is about hero time.
So no, they did not announce anything and that is more or less the problem.

Welp, someone had to do it, even if i dont know witch part of my post was even toxic, but you do need to chill, especialy with 2 2 2, that was not even anounced to be realised to the game at any time soon or even hinted at.

the thing is, no special code needs to be written for 2-2-2 to be forced for OWL - the players just get assigned roles and stick to them

It’s a lack, not aven an announcement, the leak can still be fault right now.
They are bound to nothing.
Noone deserves anything, they will release something when they are ready. I don’t understand why they should release something earlier because some stupid streamers/unknown people thought it was a good idea to spill the secret.

So you call saing posting to much on forum “waste time” (because it is, like gaming just to waste your time doing something, thats how world works you waste your time doing unproductive exercises) toxic or saing that 2 2 2 was not announced, because thats only things i said in this topic at all 
Okay. But who cares? That is why everyone is moaning. You can just ignore them if you want. But that is why people lash out at them and since they seem so afraid of us, I do not believe some common courtesy is asking too much. But that is just me. I have manners and that is a lost art, I suppose.
The point is, though, it was leaked by a player in the OWL. However, precedent already says to take it with a grain of salt. It was previously leaked even before that as coming to Stage 3, and then it was nixed on the Blizzard end and didn’t happen.
It’s quite possible that despite the leak for the next stage of OWL, Stage 4, that Activision-Blizzard isn’t married to the idea just yet and may scrap it yet again. Which means that announcing anything until they are concrete on it would be asinine.
Especially since the OWL had several leadership defects and changes, and we don’t know what those now in charge want to do.

I think it’s unfair to see some people thinking Blizzard owe them something and that’s a shame that they didn’t release anything yet.
People got overhyped alone, I don’t understand why the dev team should care about it. If people want to be as stupid as usual, that’s their problem, leave the devs alone, they don’t deserve any reproach (for that topic obviously).
They are a business. Maybe they should start acting like it. This petty nonsense works better on the playground than with professionals conveying information to consumers.
When did they even give out release dates for these features that they could even be delayed??
