Couple days ago, I was on Genji.
Dashed and killed a hanzo pretty cleanly on Numbani.
We cap first point, I jump on the bridge and start tossing shots at the door down the alley way towards their spawn.
Silly hanzo gets head tapped a couple times and dies.
Literally says “reported”
I say “what lol”
He says “headshotting me while strafing? sure bro”
I continue to kill him.
What he doesn’t realize is I have like sub 10 hours on Genji and I main support… and he just sucked.

Literally. Some people really just dont understand that people can just be good at a game on their off-roles, especially with someone who has a kit which is reliant on precision such as hanzo

Hackusations have been going up because there’s more games where there’s big skill gaps, so to the Plat players, the Master Widow on the enemy team does seem like she’s hacking

I’ve only had it happen once, when an Ashe accused me of hacking because I killed her with headshots a few times as Kiriko.
The reality was that she’d stand still in the open when ADSing, and her reaction time to taking damage and situational awareness was terrible.

I can recall two or three different times
I one trick Junkrat… yes, yes I know projectile aimbots do exist, though I definitely wouldnt be playing RAT even if I was using a projectile aimbot

A few times. Only in quickplay weirdly. I think cause it tends to have a wider skill gap.
I would only ever really appear to be cheating to a bronze player.
Projectile aimbots with Junkrat are very effective at aiming the grenades actually, but it’s still a terrible choice because Junk is so positional
It’d be so obvious if you were locking on Junkrat in melee range

Absolutely.
The fact that nearly everyone can attest to this is one of the primary factors driving my distrust of the claims of “rampant hacking” across the gaming sphere as a whole.

I say nothing to suspected cheaters. I just report and let blizzard sort it out.
Quite frequently, actually. I once even had someone friend me and then message me about how “he and his friends all reported me. Enjoy your ban!” (in a much more drawn out and unpleasant way). So many people have told me they were “so sure/100% sure” that I was cheating in chat too.

There was one game where I was a god on Mei. I hit so many headshots that the enemy thought I was hacking. Most other games my accuracy sucks though so it balances out.

The game is free now, there are new players. And they don’t know what they are seeing yet, so they don’t exactly know what they are saying.
I’ve seen so many people (just in this season) get snippy because they haven’t figured out that footsteps are loud, and a dead giveaway. Even when they aren’t against me, or even someone on my team. I see the noobs floating out there just pointing fingers.
I’d say try to explain it to them (if possible) but that’s even harder to do with less chat time after the match.

God I love being accused of hacks but it rarely happens anymore since most of the people in my matches can aim well. Only happened once recently and I was on Zen surprisingly enough. At first I thought the player accusing me was joking, but then they kept saying it and eventually rage quit. 
I wasn’t even doing anything special. Guess they were new.

As rein I saw someone walking to the other side of a pillar so I pinned them from the other side. They accused me of pin-botting as rein

Now that I think about it, it does make sense there would be decent aimbots for even Junkrat after almost 7 years lmao.
Also, one of the people who accused me I honestly dont blame them, as I hit some insane shots on them, and I dont recall missing a shot on them(They were Lucio). I was having one hell of a game… though it was during one of the rare times I was playing QP.

Last time I remember was on an oasis game and I was playing hanzo. Played pretty mid for the first round, hit some nice shots and missed some others on really easy targets. When the score was 90 to 99 for the enemy I stood in the window looking at main while my tank checked the sideroute constantly. So when there was no shooting there and I saw noone I thought that I should just the back. Loaded sonic arrow jumped down and placed an arrow into the staircase room leading to the back of the objective. In that instant a Reaper showed his head and I got that lucky headshot you just get once in a while. Guy instantly accused me of hacking, told everyone to report me and then left the game.
I got accused for cheating for this tire spot in a POTG.

At the tail end of OW 1 first section of Havana I got a 3 piece real fast with Widow and got accused of aimbotting or using mouse and keyboard on console.
I just laughed and told them I just came from Guilty Gear and Dragon Ballz Fighterz.
Going from that games hectic reaction to pace to Ow made the enemy feel like they were moving in slow motion to my eyes.
No reports were sent to me so I guess they left their snipe rage in the salt mines
