- It’s been 778 days since Symmetra’s last event legendary skin (Figure Skater in 2018 Winter Wonderland) - Literally every hero on the roster has gotten a new legendary skin in the last 2 years aside from Symmetra - yes we had Holi, yes we had Maramatt but what Symmetra mains want is a true legendary quality skin along the likes of Dragon and Tyrannde. If you have enough design skill to give D.Va, Sigma, Reindhardt, etc 2 legendary skins this year - you can certainly give the likes of Symmetra, Soldier and other heroes a new legendary - it’s been 2 years, Blizzard - just kindly explain why we haven’t even the faintest whisper of a new Symmetra legendary - stop treating Sym mains like we don’t exist because we do.

Honestly I agree with you - some heroes are HIGHLY favourited over others which is why my eyes rolled into the back of my head when jeff said we had two Symmetra events - he specifically felt the need to point that out and that annoyed me hugely.

Yeah, ngl, I don’t dislike the Sym event skins but a flat recolor or soft redesign of her base outfit is nowhere near as cool as legendary skins have the potential to be. Sym already has a lot of good ones, so. LNY is year of the ox and cows have a lot of importance in Indian culture, so it would even make sense for her to get something in line with that.

Fair enough. Skins are decided far in the future though, so if they’d already decided to screw her for another year, welp, that would be that.
I’ll truly be shocked if she doesn’t get at least 2/3 legendaries from LNY/Archives/Summer though. God knows there will be a well deserved riot on Blizzard’s hands otherwise and it’s not like there’s any excuse with how easy her model is to work with XD

Smh. same thing happened with D.Va in 2019 ~ 2020.
Until the end of the year with D.VA in 2020, D.Va went a year and a half without getting a skin prior towards all-star and halloween.

Yeah! I never said I dislike the Sym event skins - they’re still showcases of Symmetra’s culture and character BUT they’ll never be as cool as something like her Dragon Eye gun or her Figure Skates gun!
True, but I can’t imagine even Blizzard thinking they can get away with stiffing her any longer.
On the bright-side, regardless of when her drought finally ends, at least it’s 99.9% certain to be with a top tier skin. Gurl may not top the lists in terms of quantity but nobody can match the quality of her skin collection.

LOL! I’m not saying D.VA mains aren’t worthy of a skin (personally I think as long as every hero gets a skin every 12-18 months I have 0 problems with it) but Symmetra has had to wait 2 years for a new legendary.

I mean yeah Sym lore is fabulous, Stone by Stone was an emotional rollercoaster of a story but lore can only go so far, nothing will top the feeling of a brand new Symmetra legendary <3

That’s cause they don’t look at the hero roster and say “who hasn’t been getting skins?”
They just come up with ideas and go with the ones they like
