I dont think they’re saying you should care about his opinion, but the point is that freedo was historically very pro 5v5 to the point where he called pro-6v6 players delusional “flat earthers.” Now he puts out an hour long video about how 6v6 is better after being out for less than a week.

After this 2-2-2 6v6 format is over, I’m not going to play anymore. 5v5 is trash and the balancing favoritism for characters like Widow and Tracer (who is allowed to permanently dominate high ranks) drive that negative feeling over the edge.

After playing MR to GM, I can safely say…I now see a place for hero bans. I did not before.
But OW releases new heroes and balances them so slowly that I think it would get stale far too fast with the same heroes always being banned, rather than for variation.
In MR, there are 2 heroes banned every game with room for some others. In the odd game where one team gambles that the other team bans those two, it’s very refreshing tbh.
I see it being implemented terribly by team 4.5, though. They can’t seem to implement anything, however basic, competently these last 2 years.
For some reason. Guy’s an idiot with an unearned ego/superiority complex and a horrid person to boot.
