When you start searching for a rating game, and when you find a game, the match starts loading, which does not end. The players see that you’ve loaded, but you can’t see it. As a result, you will be banned for afk.

Got the same bug just now for like the 20tht time and have a 20 hour ban which means on my limited days off like today I dont get to play the game and my whole day gets ruined by it. Up to now I probably have had like 40 hours of time I couldnt play the game because I got banned without me even joining a game. Why would you even give the person that leaves a long ban if the game hasnt started yet and nobodys experience got ruined?

I see mostly no one talking about this. Are we just the unlucky few? It’s such bs.
I flushed my DNS, reset my router, manually entered IP, reset my computer, uninstalled and redownloaded ow2, launched ow2 from its file location, analyzed and patched any corrupt files (there weren’t any), ran internet diagnostics (they’re perfect), closed all background applications, removed antivirus, etc…
Nothing works. It’s a glitch inherent to their servers, and they’re not doing anything about it, meanwhile, I just got a 20 hour ban from comp even though I didn’t even enter the game.
Garbage company
I have also experienced this, thankfully only on quickplay and arcade modes so far. It only happens sometimes for me, I’d say 1 in 40 games… It’s still unacceptable but yeah, I also saw posts on Reddit that it happens a lot.

Had this happen to me only once in QP. We found a game and it wouldn’t go past the “entering game” screen. Everyone was in the game while i’m still in the menu.
Then I got kicked due to inactivity even though I was still in the “entering game” screen.
