Ever since season 17 I have not been able to play the map esperanca in quickplay or competitive (the stadium map works fine).
After the map voting phase, if esperanca is selected the loading screen with the map graphic pops up as per normal but never goes away (the screen before hero selection). I am eventually kicked for inactivity if I do not close the game myself. There are no other maps this happens on (I have been playing overwatch for around 4 months, multiple days every week).
I have tried:
-reinstalling the game
-verifying the game files integrity through steam
-updating drivers (graphics card etc)
-testing if the map works by trying to play it in quickplay whenever there is a mid-season update or new season

I made a bug report in the forums about a month ago on the same topic and received no replies.
