It’s my new least favourite map. It’s beautiful, but everyone is all over the place and hiding round corners and it hurts my little support heart.
New Queen Street for me for similar reasons - you can’t have cover because anyone can come from any angle. It’s a mess and completely unfun. I thought it was only on support, but I also tried tanking it and that was just as bad.
I like that map because i usually win when i get it. Queens Street and Coliseio i don’t what’s up with those two maps. Usually just end up with a team that just runs in and dies
Just random question, that is bothering me for a while - where is it located? Spain or Portugal?
Portugal.
I honestly don’t like the mode or any of its new maps.
Most others won’t agree, but I think I even liked 2CP more than Push.
The 5v5 rework and new heroes are the main draw to me right now, but I always thought OW1 was starved for maps so I really hope we continue to get new maps for old modes. To that point: Circuit Royale is a blast.
Colloseo and Esperanca are probably the better Push maps.
Don’t get me wrong, I like New Queen Street, but it drives me up the wall and I always lose on it. I don’t think I’ve won a game on New Queen Street yet.
I agree with everything but circuit royale…imo an awful map. Point 1 and 2 is horrible to attack and point 3 is horrible to defend.
Its such a big map, I actually really like it. All the other maps feel crampt in comparison.
Interesting. I’m almost positive, I’ve only won twice on that map but have played on it like 3 dozen times since the game launched. It is impossible to win for me.
NQS I’m pretty sure I have a ~50% winrate on, much more likely I’ll win there. It’s a coin toss, but I feel less depressed when I see it come up.
Colliseo is worse than NQS but better than Esperança.
All three annoy me to see appear though. If I could select game modes I want to play, I’d be much happier.
Circuit royale has been my favourite so far after kings row
I like that map. It’s spacious and have loads of flanking routes. New Queen Street however is just garbage.
It has good geometry and multiple flank routes, so you aren’t stuck in predictable choke points all the time. New Queen Street is awful though, because it has the same amount of flank options, but is so much more open and lacks cover. Hitscan rules like always, boring long range map. I hate all maps that lacks cover.
I must be the only one who prefers Push when compared to 2PC.
At least in push, your tank HAS TO walk forward and “tank” damage so DPS can actually make a move.
In 2PC, tanks literally afk at choke and expect DPS to be OWL quality Smurfs and kill everything so they can take a leisurely stroll to the point and collect free SR.
