Error Code LC-208

When I try to log in, I get the error LC-208. To try and combat this, I’ve unplugged and plugged my router back in. Made sure my accounts and number were link, in which they are. Turned my switch off and back on again and even went as far as uninstalling and reinstalling the game. The only thing I could think of doing is disconnecting and reconnecting my switch account on blizzard however there is a literal year cooldown for connecting a switch account. I don’t know what to do. Everything is fine but it won’t log me in. It connects to the game server and enters the game but before it’s even fully left the login screen, it sends me back with an error. It even shows up on my friends screen that I’m logging in and immediately being sent back. Anything for me to do or is this a Blizzard thing?

It’s a Blizz thing. I’m getting the same as you and I had OW on Xbox and PC and obviously merged them. My wife who had only Xbox OW is on fine now. It’s an account merge thing and apparently specific to PC and console merges (but I could be wrong there, not enough info that I’ve seen.)

I’m actually on switch so I don’t know if it’s a PC thing. I just hope it gets worked out soon so I can get back to playing. Been trying for going on 15 hours now…

Yeah, switch only. However, all my OW switch friends are online. I’ve done all I can do but I still can’t even when I sit here for hours and spam the a button. :confused:

Exactly the same issue, also done all those things and also considered de-linking my switch account to my blizzard account, but I’m also not gonna risk it with a year waiting time. Meanwhile my friends have been playing for 4 hours already…

Same here, let me log in to my wife’s account fine. But mine as soon as I logged in I get the error. I’m connected on PC, and Xbox

Me too I’d at least be able to play starting over. At least I’m not alone I guess. Would be nice to be rewarded for our trouble with the battle pass or in game currency.

I just tried using my husbands account and he’s getting the same error though he never had to merge

Yeah it had been fine since yesterday but for some reason blizzard decided today was the day that I couldn’t get to play. Nothing on their support article worked apart from disconnecting but then I’d have to wait 365 days to reconnect the account because for some reason it takes a whole year for you to disconnect an account.

I’ve disconnected and reconnected my account a few times today I think that’s if you try to connect a new account or something

I did the disconnect and reconnect thing, it didn’t work. I read it as it’s a year cooldown if you wanted to link a different account. It didn’t work anyway… :confused:
