in the last couple of months every time i try to add someone to my friend list i just get a message in chat “The invite could not be sent due to an internal problem (5001)”
i tried to scan and repair and the last few updates but nothing seem to solve the problem/
any help?

If you cannot send any new friend requests, try cancelling the pending ones:
- Open the Blizzard Battle.net application (PC not mobile)
- Open the friends list
- Click the cogwheel icon
- Choose View Sent Friend Requests
- Cancel pending friend requests
Once the above is complete, try resending the friend request.
(If you play on console, you would still need to be able to access the PC desktop application as it is the only way to manage pending requests at this time.)
