Epitome of lack information

3 random facts of OW:

Common mistakes people still be believe in OW:

Made by the same person who both spreads and then corrects the same facts? Its this stuff people argue about in the game sometimes as it leads to arguments of where to play and have team fights. Why is this guy feeding, he needs to be on point! Meanwhile it was only based on a misconception … or was it?

Could have been such a great game… Lack of IN-GAME information is one of the biggest issues.

Or, they realised the people playing are free and capable of finding their own paths.

Basic information should not be up for interpretation.

Janky stats and bad information / missing information leads to bad game play experience.

I’m not promoting guard rails, just promoting information.

The information is out there for those that want it. For others who want to learn and evolve at their own pace, the game allows that.

There is no set way to do things. They just want people to play and have fun.

Again, I see you either want to share some hard message and not caring about the original post…

Two youtube shorts with conflicting information. …

“Where” - is the question. Once players leave the game, they cant control where the players get the information. The best they can attempt is having information confirm or deny the “out there” information.

Players DONT learn… too many false postives and false negatives. Thats why there is a whole coaching industry.

Having more information doesnt go against this, so not sure why you want to include it so much. The statement adds no value for or against the argument having MORE information to prevent people from FALSE information.

Are you still using Chat gpt again?

I don’t watch YouTube shorts, for the same reason I don’t watch Instagram reels or tiktok. I’m not 12.

All over, people share there experiences and findings. The community learnt together.

I wouldn’t call some people making a quick buck out of giving basic game play tips to someone an industry. But whatever.

All the information you require about any subject from comps, to maps to systems is out there.

The game doesn’t need to tell you what to do.

Still or again. One or the other. (ChatGPT is a reasonably good tool)

the first video is just a joke.

What’s in it. It’s a YouTube short apparently, so I’m not touching it.

just some purposefully wrong info like lucio speedboosting pushbot.
other creators have done similar fake-info videos for fun.

(also in comments the poster says “it was posted on april 1st”)

So this whole thread is a waste of time.

Good to know. Thanks for taking the YouTube bullet for me.

Goes to show when you leave responsibility of IN-GAME decision information to the “community”, your liable for the community to spread misinformation.

I did not see the april fools comment. Thank you too for reading that because I too dont like studying shorts.

“Industry” : a distinct group of productive or profit-making enterprises

Multiple coaches and people providing a service.

you got your information about OW2 from the discounted thomas the tank engine? dang boi.

I aprove it is. It can be a good assistant if one other isn’t available.

You folks are acting like the point is mute…

Rely on the community, liable for misinformation, breeds sometimes / could be toxic discussions because of lack of information in game. note not guard rails… but basic information.

Would you rather look for a small triangle to indicate the damage passive is on, on a green speed up indicator on the objective to indicate IF infact its going faster?

Because. To a point. It is.

Didnt you accuse me of selectively picking phrases? This is all too sad.

The game needs more information. I provided an example. At this point of the argument I think its only at what degree could they add more information.

The principle that they rely on the community for information is not working - IMHO.

Nope, I may have accused you of taking quotes out of context. Which I’ve not done there.

It doesn’t. Unless you mean you need more information… Then, that’s a you problem.

Pretty much everyone else seems fine with it.

I will add, new player “induction” processes on new accounts have improved. But could be better. But that’s more a learn stuff before you even touch the game time stuff. Which should all be skipable for alt accounts.

Thats your opinion, and I respectfully disagree - and no1 can be proven right or wrong.

A general statement that is pretty much useless in this argument. Please provide the survey responses. lol

I will add, it has been my experience, in game arguments over objective mechanics or comp discussions are very much inaccurate and leads to too many pointless and toxic disagreements. Maybe not your experience since you dont play much and even more less in solo q. A root of this issue, my opinion, is the lack of in-game information.

I don’t need to. You’ve asked a few times before and got a fairly flaccid response.

If it was something people wanted, you’d of had some engagement.

Irrelevant and not true.

People discuss comps and stuff and get heated about it in pretty much every game. I just ignore the chat because I play what I want to play.

You’re playing in gold plat, comps are strats aren’t overly important.

This furthers the original point? thanks?

So more information might settle the heated arguments. What you do about it is your decision, but doesnt make the core of the issue go away.

To make for a more healthy informed decisions and less heated debates, IN-Game, all I’m suggesting - more information could be useful.

I told you before, we agree with most stuff, just do different things about it.
