Entire computer shutting down while playing overwatch

The issue I am having is a complete computer shutdown. It happens at random times while playing the game. Sometimes it crashes after 10 minutes, after 30 minutes, or even an hour. There is no set time.

Specs:
Ryzen 5 5600
RX 6700 XT
Windows 11
16 GB Ram

GPU driver: Adrenalin Edition 24.3.1

I changed the thermal paste on my CPU, swapped out my PSU(with a new one), and cleaned out my entire PC. still crashes at random times. The temperatures are normal while playing. I’ve noticed that every time I’m about to crash, the fps drops, then it goes back to the normal fps, crashes to a black screen, then the PC shuts off.

I set my fps to 144
My settings in game are mainly low, with a few settings set to ultra/epic
I’ve been playing overwatch 2 since release and only started crashing around December of last year.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, volunteer here. Unfortunately, if your computer shuts down it points to a problem outside the gaming software’s permissions on your system.

Blizzard has a support doc providing their stance on these issues and some tips:

Well, I’m not having any other issues with other games; I can play Helldivers 2 at max graphics without any crashes. (i normally play for 2 hours.) I never had an issue with crashing.

do you have any suggestions on what to do? I’m lost at this point

Maybe check you pc for any available updates. bios and all that.
check router firmware just because.

Ow is a cpu heavy game, you can run all low and turn down render scale to 75%. Google best settings for the game to run fast on.

lol google best settings for gaming?!?, why would someone need to search that… you just said it, turn everything off or on low…render scale down, if that is fine work up from there. you dont need reddit answer questions to figure this stuff out, it is common sense…

It’s not, some setting have little effect on performance. Google it and learn something, or don’t. Either way makes no difference to me.
Have fun trolling.
