This looks absolutely amazing can’t wait for third person mode!

Any chance third person could be brought to the other normal modes as a toggle?!

Hyped through the roof.

Oh god please no. Tons of people prefer first person shooters than third. Third person has advantages that would make playing first just a disadvantage. I and many others do not want overwatch to be a third person shooter. It’s already the main reason I am not interested in stadium, brining it to every mode would be awful.

Only on rankeds is bad, bad and more bad.

Yea but aren’t the matches long? Anything to reduce leavers is needed.

It could have an anti peek feature like in apex when you emote.

I’m so hyped, buuuuut…
There’s not that many heroes I play on the roster and they are all supports

I hope next season brings more :pray:t3:

No thanks…

Not interested in some mayhem Arcade game, not even finished, with only a dozen of heroes available at first and no Quickplay…

You can’t keep making new recipes with the same basic ingredients since 2016…

When a new Overwatch sequel, please ?

Edit : We can’t even switch heroes during a match, in a counterpicking heroes game…

I wish it were 6v6.

Supposedly the average will be around a half hour, with longer matches taking upwards of forty five minutes.

Then there is also the ‘slaughter rule’ where if one team is steam rolling the other, players can choose to end it all early.

Love that. If it’s a bad game, you either get a quick win or a quick loss, which you were going to get either way.

Although, for whatever reason, I don’t want to see that system in normal ranked

I’m not generally a big fan of surrender options, mostly for how the gamers use them. I think I’m just a salty gamer, but when a surrender request fails, and we push through and are close to a victory, I always send a surrender request to my team, in my head directed at the quitters. I wouldn’t even be mad if it was successful lol.

So… let me get this straight… This is an arcade game mode that lasts 45 min, where balance is nonexistant, no possibility to switch heroes if / when you are hardcountered by an enemy tank hero AND you can’t even surrender if getting hardstomped… ?

Yeah, not only am I not interested in this Arcade mode but I don’t even have the time. Maybe if there was a Quickplay version of it, I would give it a try… but not having the entire cast available is simply not interesting.

Too many restrictions… 5v5, Role Queue, impossible to switch heroes, long matches…

I guess this will be the first time I won’t be playing a new “core” game mode in Overwatch.

Edit : my bad, I missread… You can choose to surrender, good… but the rest still looks awful.

FOR REAL

I’m over here thinking of opinions on something I will never play. Two matches and there goes my gaming session for the night lmao. It’s why I moved on from ranked OW.

Definitely. Other games structured like this with round-based matches (Rainbow Six, Valorant, etc) ban you from queueing if you leave even one match even in their unranked modes, as they should. This mode just isn’t conducive to casual play. OW has even bigger leaver problems than those games, so I totally get it being locked behind rank.

I play 1-2 QP matches a day during a fresh season (until BP is completed), 'cause I also keep in touch with new games. I can’t afford to waste an hour a day on a game released in 2016, no matter how much I love(d) Overwatch.

I can’t wait for a real Overwatch sequel to spend hundreds of hours on it  !

Good thing Stadium is the exact opposite then.

As far as I can currently tell, no, no switching. But they’re replacing hero switching with the shop where you can buy abilities/passives to overcome disadvantages or create new advantages for yourself.

I’m with you though, I typically avoid games where matches are this long.

Only reason I’m going to give stadium a try is because it’s based around a game I’ve already been playing for years on end.

Definitely looks interesting. Going to be an adjustment period for the new view and the purchasing system.

I need to get to the All Star rank to unlock that Juno skin? And its the equivalent to Champion rank on regular comp? Wtf? Get out of here! I only ever reached diamond a couple of times, mostly plat yo-yo and I absolutely hated that grind. I hate comp, its a joke. I’ll try out Stadium even though im kinda meh on it, but thanks for locking a Juno skin to that mode that I’ll probably never be able to get.

Lame and cringe.
