Other than Kiriko in general, of course.
But for serious. The OW2 team has been taking a mountain of crap from the player base. Some justified, some not so much. So let’s talk about what they got right.
The ability to ping enemies has been one of the greatest boons to ALL players, but especially to those with high situational awareness combined with social anxieties or other reasons they cannot get in voice chat.
In OW1 it wasn’t uncommon for me to be the only one to see a flanker, and while I had access to “I need help!” I could spam that four or five times and maybe someone might turn around, but if the flanker was still hidden all I could do was shoot in their direction and hope my teammate realized I was asking for help with a hidden flanker.
Now I can just ping them or their general area and MY ENTIRE TEAM will turn around and look. It’s alleviated so much of my frustration when I am playing support. Now a couple pings and an “I need help” means it’s super obvious that there is a flanker behind the team I can’t deal with on my own. I’m actually grateful to the devs for giving me this tool to utilize… even if I think they could have done it way sooner.
Another thing they got right is the New York map. I really enjoy playing on it for its aesthetics and for the obvious tributes to the first responders of New York that are displayed all throughout the map.
So come on guys. Let’s get a little positivity going. What else did they get right?
